Marcus Rosner
Producer

IMDB | Profile

Marcus was born on the west coast of British Columbia but throughout his younger years, he lived just outside of Edmonton in the quaint and suburban prairie town of Sherwood Park, Alberta. He spent his youth playing every sport imaginable and never once took a drama class. After graduating high school, he was at a loss for what to do with his life, but a significant trip to New York City with his mother, in which they saw several Broadway shows, sparked the first flame for a career as an actor. Marcus made the move to Vancouver where he attended Vancouver Film School and began working in film and TV. He has since had an enviable career with numerous notable roles.

Marcus has appeared on SYFY’s "Continuum", The CW’s "Arrow", and "Supernatural", and ABC’s "Mistresses", and held recurring roles on ABC’s "Once Upon a Time", Hallmark’s "When Calls The Heart", Bravo’s "Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce” and Lifetime’s critically acclaimed series “UnREAL”. In the Buzzfeed Studios/Lionsgate co-production “My Fake Boyfriend” Marcus played the critically acclaimed supporting role of Nico alongside Keiynon Lonsdale, Sarah Hyland and Dylan Sprouse. On top of this list of credits Marcus is a mainstay leading man on the Hallmark Channel in the world of romantic comedies.

When not working on set as an actor Marcus is passionate about bringing film and TV projects to his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta. Growing up there he didn’t see an active entertainment industry and the result was that he failed to realize a career in the business was an option until much later in life. After being invited to star and executive produce on Northern Gateway’s 2020 film “Christmas With A Crown” the relationship grew and soon Marcus was helping to bring even more films to Edmonton in co-production with Northern Gateway. Now, with many more exciting projects on the horizon, in both the MOW world and beyond, Marcus has joined Dylan and Andy at Northern Gateway in an official capacity as they look to expand and grow.
